Camoshita
Tokyo, Japan — founded 2005
Yasuto Kamoshita learned Italian tailoring by importing it, then rebuilt it for a Tokyo wardrobe: shorter in the body, easier through the chest, and cut in cloths that travel. The result is tailoring worn like sportswear, without ever becoming casual.
The tell
The tell is a Neapolitan shoulder sewn in Tokyo: unpadded, gathered by hand, and light enough that the jacket folds flat into a bag without holding the crease.
