Nick Wakeman built Studio Nicholson as a modular wardrobe: a fixed set of shapes, re-cut each season in heavier or lighter cloth, designed to be worn together without thought.
The house publishes its fabric weights the way other brands publish campaigns — the weight is the design decision, and the silhouette follows from it.
The tell
The tell is the shoulder seam sitting a measured distance past the bone — decided before the silhouette was drawn — on a cloth heavy enough to hold that drop all day.
